This post wouldn't have happened if it hadn't been for the 1961 Conroe yearbook. They did a Favorites series that posed couples in a series from leaving home to flying in style. If anyone can confirm which airport this would have been in 1961, it would be greatly appreciated. I would be surprised if Conroe students had driven all the way south to Houston Municipal? But what other airport would have that many daily Delta flights posted on the board?
