Tournament Winners! Members of the Geo. A Thompson Eighth Grade Basketball team won third place in the recent weekend deep water tournament. The team won two out of three games, losing only to the tournament winners, Byle. That loss was a tough one, with Thompson losing by only five points. Members of the team are: first row, left to right, Keven Munz, Johnny Morgan, Steve King, Doug McCormick, Mike Bischof; Second Row: James Slovachek, Fred Flickinger, Phillip Williams, Nicky Pantazis, Sammy Shimfessel; Third Row, Bill Bardwell, Jimmy Hodson, Steve Chastain, Greg Loe and Coach Foree. Missing is Bryant Collins. Collins was names to the all-tournament team.
