The South Belt Press turned Leader Turns 44

I can always do this math. The South Belt Press began publication the first week of February 1976.

I was born in 1970 (and my birthday in July 1976 made the paper!), so while I hit the big 5-0 this year, the paper turns just 44!

Herewith, a look back at those early year milestones, when the idea of turning 44 would have sounded hilarious to Marie and Bobby, I am sure.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!
