South Belt Leader co-owners Marie Flickinger, left, and Bobby Griffin, may find running a newspaper easier than breaking ground for new offices last week. Husbands David Flickinger, left, and Kenneth Griffin finally put muscle behind the shovel for construction of an 8100-square foot cinder block building at Kirkfair and Beamer. The new offices are being built for the South Belt Leader and South Belt Graphics and Printing. Offices will also be leased to M&M Graphics, Tebco., operator for Sagemeadow Utility District, and South Belt-Ellington Chamber of Commerce. Construction is be International Builders and is expected to be complete April 15.
