Gene Sims and Joy Hubbard lend their help to flood victims in Brownville. Sagemont Baptist Church and Long John Silver's Seafood Shoppe on Fuqua collected bags of groceries and clothing for victims, many with low income and no insurance. Supplies were transported through the assistance of Randy Pennington, state representative of District 130, and Jack Meyers, director of the Sagemeadow Municipal Utility District.
