After a year and a half, Beamer is finally getting paved between Sageorchard and Kirkvalley connecting Sagemont with Kirkmont, including a bridge over the drainage ditch as well as a sidewalk for school children. The next hurdle will be getting stop signs approved to slow down traffic and curb the spate of cars running into homes along Beamer.
In other news, the Sagemeadow Civic Club heard from Harris County Flood Control Director James B. Green about how they may be affected by flooding. (As if they didn't already know.)
