Almeda Mall Christmas 1973

How has it been three months since I've posted anything?

So much of the discussion takes place on the Facebook pages, that this archive gets little attention.

But this summer I was the lucky recipient of a number of reels of digitized Kodachrome slides from Almeda Mall and a number of them are from the Christmas season in some very specific years. It seems 1973, 1976, 1977, and then nothing until the turn into the 90s was discovered and digitized.

I'll post these in a series here in the run-up to Christmas this month.

Herewith, Christmas at Almeda Mall in 1973:

The train is called the Candy Stripe Special this year.

Santa arrives on a Fire Truck from the Sagemont Volunteer Fire Dept.
