Thank you Santa! Brian Sharpless, son of Sagemeadow residents Jim and Fran Sharpless, receives an early Christmas gift from Santa at the Southeast Volunteer Fire Department annual Christmas party which was held last Friday. Santa was forced to arrive on a fire engine, due to the rain and heavy fog that night. Santa had a gift for all the youngsters attending, and even a couple of the adults. Everyone got a chance to sit on Santa's lap, even Fire Chief Ed Baker. A couple of the younger children were not as willing as most of the others. In fact, two cried and cried . . .
