We'll never know whether the arsonist was a Leader reader, but one week after the article announcing the anniversary of the Frazier elementary fire, as well as the lack of leads in the Beverly Hills and Burnett fires, the front page had to sadly cover an even worse one, the fourth in a year, this time at Garfield Elementary.
Here's the corrected orientation
I was in the first grade at Frazier when it burned, and my mom worked there. We had just finished our book fair, and my mom has always thought they were looking for money. I remember meeting at the school to let balloons go and helping my mom take her belongings out. That was surreal. The rest of the year after spring break we all had to be bussed to other schools to finish the year.
